Encubay’s Global Immersion Week 2024 (EGIW24’), held from October 13–17 during GITEX Global Week, celebrated women entrepreneurs by fostering cross-border collaboration between India and the UAE. The event brought together industry leaders, investors, and startups, offering mentorship, networking, and strategies to empower female-led ventures under the theme “Scale, Raise, Go Global.”
Key participants included Archana Jahagirdar, Founder of Rukam Capital, and Mona Ataya, Founder of Mumzworld.com, alongside other influential figures from diverse industries. A highlight of the week was the Soar Up Pitch Showcase and Investor Mixer at DIFC’s Capital Club, where five high-potential startups pitched to global investors, building strategic connections in the MENA region.
Encubay founders Avneet Kohli and Deeksha Ahuja emphasized the importance of creating networks and providing resources to help women entrepreneurs overcome barriers and scale globally. “Our ecosystem enables founders to turn ambitions into impact across borders,” said Kohli.
The event also received support from Rukam Capital, which bridges global markets for women-led startups, and Tanishq, which championed women’s empowerment by gifting attendees exclusive jewelry and vouchers.
Aditya Singh of Tanishq stated, “We believe in celebrating women’s ambitions and successes, aligning with Encubay’s mission to foster entrepreneurial growth.”
Encubay continues to drive global growth for female entrepreneurs, supporting innovation, diversity, and empowerment across India and the Middle East.
