The South Australian Women in Business Conference returned to the Sferas Function Centre on November 15, 2024, bringing together women entrepreneurs and professionals for a day of networking, insights, and skill-building. Hosted by the City of Salisbury’s Polaris Business Development Centre, with support from the Office for Small and Family Business, this year’s theme, “Shaping the Future of Women in Business,” focused on real stories and the power of community.

Keynote speaker Michelle Bridges, health and fitness entrepreneur, inspired attendees by sharing her journey and insights on women in business. The event featured a panel discussion with South Australian business leaders, speed networking sessions, and workshops on intellectual property, personality profiling, and turning ideas into action.

Minister Andrea Michaels MP highlighted government support for women entrepreneurs, emphasizing opportunities available through the Malinauskas Government’s Women in Business program. “South Australian women are achieving incredible things, and this event fosters connections to overcome barriers and grow businesses,” she stated.

Workshop host Audrey Thomas praised the conference for its dedication to empowering women and fostering lifelong professional relationships. Attendees like Kerry Pienaar of Complete Communication Coach shared their excitement for the event’s focus on innovation and opportunities to expand networks.
